Default My a8n5x chipset voltmod- where ingenuity, frugality, danger and stupidity meet

I felt like doing the a8n-sli chipset voltmod to shoot for a higher HTT, but I didn't feel like soldering on a surface-mount component the size of a flea.
So I got to figurin' and came up with a solution:

Yes, it works.

Yes, my hard drive is what is being used to sink voltage off the mobo.

No, the drive has not failed yet.

That's just sick. There should be some kind of official Overclock.net award for something like this. The "DIFS" Award. (Dangerous, Ingenuity, Frugality and Stupidity). We could call it a "DIFFY"

And if anyone is contemplating similar endeavors, we could make statements like "Thats a lot of DIFS", or "Those DIFS are different."

The award could show on the "Winners" (the title should always appear in quotes, to call into question whether they really are a winner or not) avatar, showing a figure of some person doing something that is dangerous, ingenious, frugal and stupid, like making their own anti-venom. Or connecting the power to their house at the power pole themselves. Or something equally diffy.

In fact, there should be an objectively defined Diffy Scale, with certain endeavors given a diffy rating, so that when a computer related Difsituation arises, people can comment on it's level of diffiness, relative to other, non-computer related endeavors.

Building your own x-ray machine, Diffy Level 7.

Okay that's Diffy alright! I have to ask, what is holding it on? I would think that vibrations from the HD or fans alone would send it falling.
