suspected vdroop problem
hey i have an asus p5b-e mobo and am currently running a 1.325v vcore in bios... and look at what the voltage is showing in cpuz. Is this worth investigating cause the psu definitely aint the issue.

what is there to investigate you know the issue now look for a mod to fix it

lol i worded it wrong... i meant to ask whether it is worth MODDING. So, i am a total noob when it comes to modding mobos... any suggestions or must it be tailored to my specific motherboard?
__________________EDIT: Also, is it normal for the voltage to drop during stressing?

Yes, you and I have the exact same motherboard, and really that droop isn't all that terrible. It is ~.06 though so I'd look into modding it. I followed these instructions, and now when I've set 1.425v in the BIOS, my idle is 1.416v in CPU-Z (v1.41, I'd upgrade if I were you), and the load is 1.424v.
