Default vDroop Wearing Off...

Has anyone else experienced their vDroop mods becoming "less effective" over time? When I orginially did the mod ~7-8 months ago, I could set 1.425v in the BIOS, and read 1.416v at idle in CPU-Z, and 1.424v at load in CPU-Z. Fairly great mod, by the way.

However now, I've had to set 1.4375v in the BIOS to get the same 1.416v at idle, and under load it drops to 1.400v in CPU-Z. So from a .001v droop to a .0375v droop. Is this normal for the mod to "wear off" so to speak? I'll probably re-do it this weekend anyhow, I'm just curious.

I haven't noticed any, of course I reapply mine once a week.

if it is the pencil mod then yes it will wear off off after a while as the graphite will slowly disipate, one to slow it down is to cover the graphite with cellotape or electircal tape

Alright thanks guys. I reapplied the pencil markings and I'm back to where I was 7 months ago.
