Which would be better? I realize the mass amount of people out there use pencils, but I can also imagine that most of these people dont have circuit tracer pens. Well I do, and was wondering if it would help, or is that going to cause problems?

No expert, but from a common sense point of view, I would use the median that has been known to be effective. You have a reasonable idea of what to expect with a pencil.

I had a circuit writing pen, but decided to go with pencil since it is reversible. So that is always a plus for RMA. I actually sent my pen to Refresh who wanted to use it for a vdroop mod. PM him and ask.

I used a conductive fluid to do the vdroop mod on my sig board and it was great no droop at all for about 2 months then the board became very unstable locking up while playing, I had to remove the markings and lower my FSB to 1400 now I can not get rid of the vdroop for nothing and my board is unstable at any speed higher than 1400
