Asus M3N72-D vdroop & low vcore range
I searched around the internet for a bit and can't seem to find that anyone has already done a fix for this.
I have two issues at hand here. The vcore setting in the BIOS goes up to only 1.55v. I know this chip can handle a little more than that, and I would love to push it as hard as I can at least a couple times. While at that highest setting I am only getting a real 1.52v idle, dropping to 1.49v under linpack loads. I'm dying to know how to fix this vdroop or extend the voltage table somehow. I figure I have some thermal headroom to work with since I've not seen more than 47c @ 3.7GHz on air.

I have the same board and my x4 940 goes to 1.506v on load at 1.55v. Pretty sure that's the max safest temp recommended.

Yeah I heard that 1.55v was the recommended max, but I've never been one to play it safely. I'd like to throw around 1.6v at it.
 I wanted the higher voltage for some suicide runs, not for 24/7. I would be happy if someone at least knew how to fix the vdroop. Anyone?? I did a pencil mod on the P5N-D, which seemed to be like an Intel socket 775 version of this board (nforce 750i chipset). Maybe I was wrong to assume there's a vdroop fix here too?

I cant find any listed mods for the mobo...but if you take some good Q Macro shots of the mobo for me [specifically all around the CPU area and NB] I might be able to come up with vdroop and vcore mods for you..

Whoa I just noticed that this was bumped a while down the line here. I sorta gave up on this. Still haven't fixed it...
 With the risk of looking like an idiot I must ask, what do you mean by Q Macro shots?

High Quality... Macro shots.. most digital cameras have a "flower" mode..that is Macro for taking close up shots.
I will need shots around the CPU area...I can locate the IC's that control voltage and make mod for you
