Hell I did a google and all links point back to the VR-zone, which I can not access either. You would think someone else would have the info.

they soldered it to the point on the picture you saw on the guide..and the other end was attatched to the case somewhere. Depends on where you want to put it. I just opened up one of my PCIslot covers, pit the wire up where the screw gets put in, adn reclosed the slot....easy as cake....

In all honsty, if you have a little patience with this mod, you cna do it in such a way that it's completely reversible, and noone would be the wiser....jujst don;t burn the PCB with your soldering iron, and use VERY VERY LITTLE solder.

Also, chemk with a voltmeter the poinst around the solder point to see which ones actually connect and how much resistance is there, so then you will know i fyou scred somehting up.

As aded oprevaution, use a razorblade, and imagine your solder point is closest rto you. Put the razor behind the solder point, becasue that is the oen that can get bridged most easily, and we don;t want that....When your done soldering, pick up the razorblade and you ahve a perfectly clean solder....

Which way is the most resistance? Clockwise or counter-clockwise?
