I am at my friends house and trying to hook up the wireless modem to his network but i having a problem.
__________________(The operating system is win98) I cannot connect to the router to configure settings. In the command prompt, it shows my default gateway as 192.168.2.1. Shouldnt it be 192.168.1.1 And my ip address is 192.168.2.2 Any advises ... Thank you

By his network you mean he already has a router you plug your router in the same network?
