ISTL, the drivers didn't work... ill try backing up as much as i can before i refresh windows... Will i have to waste a CD-Key for windows to reinstall?

No not for just installing a NIC thats no big deal .........windows will only ask if you make major changes

If you're talking drivers NO if you're talking windows or alot of hardware then yes but if you have XP installed already use the same key to reinstall thats fine I did a fresh install on my wife's pc 4 time(kids playing)and used the same key no big deal

i mean, again, i used the cd-key past its limit many times before... like 4 times over, lol

I looked all through MS site on activation and cd key and also read the entier end user lic. agreement and found nothing on how many times you can use a cd key...........are you sure about this cause like I said I could find nothing on it?

they have a limit on how many computers a cd key can be used on, then u must pay for a new one. thats what i mget when i try to use it again. anyways, now im gonna use w98 :grr: untill i can afford a new full copy of xp pro, or just borrow one from my dads work.
