Default Sometimes Steam works and sometimes it doesnt?
Well guys I was gaming earlier today but steam needed to update so i had to close it then open it well the seond time it didnt open. It says could not connect to steam network ,It had said this before and ill keep trying then it will work for maybe a week or 2 then not work for awhile and vice versa, Im getting alittle mad at this so what could be the problem???? My router is the US Robotics USR8054

Steam is often fidgety. I would just reinstall it.

Have you got Xfire running at the same time?

I used to get loads of weird jack ass messages with it when Xfire was open.

No i dont even have XFire installed. Like last week it worked during the week then it hasnt worked this week its wierd

Delete your clientregistry.blob and restart Steam. If that still doesn't work, delete all the DLLs in the Steam folder - should force it to download a clean copy

where can i find this .blob file?

EDIT: SO just delete it then restart steam?
