I would try resetting the router that can generally fix alot of issues. Also only have one computer hooked up to when you do. THat way hopefully you can get into the router and adjust the settings to your likeing. THen hook up the second one. I have my home network set up with my computer as static cause i have a lot of ports fowarded but then i have all the other ones as dynamic so i dont have to worry about them. I set mine to a really high number so i dont have to worry about conflict.

try assigning the IP manually to see if the 2 pc's or w/e have the same IP address
go to start>control panel>network connections>right click on wireless connection>properties>scroll down to TCP-IP in the menu at the bottom of the General tab>click properties> tick "use the following IP address"> type 192.168.1.10 or something. then try it and see if it works.

I warned that I was a n00b. I am now hard-lined into the router and all is good. What do I do now to ensure I have connectivity wirelessly?

Go to start run type CMD then type ipconfig your router should be listed as the Default Gateway, Type that ip address into IE or FireFox and it will ask you to login to your router. What kinda router is it?

Ok, I was real happy for a minute there. I hardlined to the router typed in its' address and had connectivity. When I disconnected I was still able to pull up pages I hadn't previously visited so it work for a short time. But now same deal. Arghhh...
EDIT: Ok, got things going for now. I need to get back to work so I'll pick this up later and try and fiture out what the issue really was. Thanks again.
