Help delete Addawhare!!!! (I Think...)
I went to ISOhunt.com which is a torrent site. Then all of a sudden the site disappeared and a small banner popped up saying your computer has adult sites and stored credit card information that could ruin your life and marriage and bla bla bla click here to download drivecleaner...... So I closed out of it and another banner popped up saying You have 694 adult sites stored on your computer. download drive cleaner now to erase them completely... Along with this one, there were a few that my popup blocker had blocked also.
__________________Is this something with the website or some crap that is on my computer stored somewhere in windows???? If its my computer, How do I delete this crap??? Dont know if it matters, but I closed out and went back to the site and the banners didnt popup that time.....

Download Spybot, boot into safe mode, and run the prog. It should fix the problem.

Rest asured, the pop ups you got are no more then advertising and if you didn't download anything from that site you are perfectly allright imo.
__________________It is designed to scare the living daylights out of you. The chances of you actually having 694 traces of adult sites on your pc like it says is as big as you beeing the 99.9999 visitor (you don't want to click that banner eighter)

Well, I downloaded spybot, didnt boot in safe mode but I did run the program. Found like 16 things.. then I clicked on fix problems......
__________________Does the fix problem button delete this garbage? I need to get away from torrents lol.

also clicked on immunize and it now says 31,175 bad products are now blocked??? whats going on with this mess? what are the theys it considers bad??

Spybot's immmunizer should protect your computer from all that crap. That's a good thing. And yea go ahead and delete all that nonsense.

I use ishunt all the time without any trouble. You must have downloaded a bad torrent or something? Just be careful of what you download and keep some of the aforementioned tools handy.
