Default Help!

my internet is down. Ive checked the connection, everything is fine. my LANport detects my connection, service is running, everything is fine. for some reason, my computer wont start my browsers or any network related software. since my LANport is detecting the connection, im pretty sure its a software problem, most likely related to registry. Help? anyone?

You sure your connection is even up? Your ISP might be having problems.

Try releasing and renewing your IP address.

Also, make sure your connecting through your Ethernet port and not wirelessly or through any other means.

go to run
type in cmd

you could also try to power off and unplug the modem an or router. unplug all connection, let sit for 30 sec then turn everything on.
