Slow Speeds During Peek Hours

I have Virgin Media Cable 20Mbps
Off Peek hours i get between 10000Kbps to 15000Kbps and max i got is 17500Kbps and peek hours which is around 6 - 10 GMT i get like 2000Kbps to 4500Kbps is this acceptable, have any of u experinced this with Virgin media(UK)?

How are you working out these speeds?
__________________I'm not sure about Virgin, but BT definitely limits my torrent speeds during the day, although normal downloads seem unaffected.

Nothing you can do but get a better ISP. Seems they don't have the bandwidth to keep up with all their users.
I get the same speeds 24/7, 2MB/sec (16,000KBPS) (as long as the website supports that fast)

i called their tech number they been helpful as long as u connect to a UK call center in indian call center they take u in circles
but every time i called they refunded me the money, and if it takes long they will call u bak insted so that thay they r cool as long as u dont get connected to india (usaly after office hours in UK [9 to 5])
