You forgot CAT6. Also wireless security like WPA2, WPA. Also about why not using WEP.

All of that is a little out-of-the-scope of this article. This is about WAPs, not generic wireless setup. I would prefer to keep it more focussed, than go off on a tangent.
And Cat6s are so similar to Cat5s, it makes no difference, really. Wireless connections nullify the speed of Gigabit Ethernet anyway.

Okay. I would not recommond Hubs to anyone. They broadcast to everyone, only work on the layer 1 in the OSI. Yes, they are cheapy but they have their downsides.
