I know that after you start using torrents, you may get some conncetion issues. Every couple of hours, I have to reset my router in order to get things going again.
From what I understand, this is because of "requests" coming in for seeds, etc. Anyone know how I can address this?

1) your router may just be crapping out from the excessive ammount of connectiosn you're making ti run. Fix this with fireware update or customer firmware (DD-WRT or Tomatoe) 2) you may be getting hit for seed reqests even after you've stopped torrent cause you're still on the track. Just set your router to block the port you're using for P2P when you're not running P2P software. 3) some routers just have issues with maintining connectivity for long periods of time. Again firmware update or customer firmware. Also check the boards for your manufacturer, often you can tweak the firmware for your router to help with connection dropping.

How would I go about blocking the port when not in use?

That's another nice part of an enterprise router... you can implment a block on that port without rebooting the router unlike most home routers... Sure you don't want to sell me that thing?!?! Anyway you can get more?
