It is because XBox 360 wireless adapter does not support the wireless internet connection with WPA2.

First of all, that is lame as hell on Microsoft's part.

Second, he said using a bridge...I posted a bridge that is WPA2 compatible

Point taken, thx krunk i forgot how delicious shoe leather was ...

anyway, normally i'd reccomend a bridge cause it's a cheap\easy solution. you COULD use a encryption capable bridge, just sell a kidney to cover the costs

LOL, That's true.

Poor Microsoft, I don't think their going to try to make an adapter that works. Oh well.

If you want to keep your network secure and get an XBox onto the internet wirelessly you have to use 2 routers and the setup for the 2nd router is much more complicated than what we've done for the first one. My advice is to hardwire the xbox if at all possible and use secure wireless for the 2nd PC.
wow that sounds like hell haha
Hmm, I dont use the 360 much at all, would I be able to just have everything wireless and when I would want to use my 360, could I just connect the ethernet wire and have the 360 be wired?
Would that work? Or no?
Thanks for the replies guys, I'll give it a shot tonight or this weekend.

yup. that's wat i used to do with my XBox. When i wanted to play Halo2 on live i'd run a 50' Ethernet cable to the xbox and when i was done i'd roll it up and tuck it under the couch for the sake of appearance.
