Hey guys, I tried to install everything but I get a "aquiring network address" on the laptop & it never connects. It keeps saying that, it finds the wireless router and all but it keeps saying that. Any ideas?

do you have mac filtering enabled? or a limited number of DHCP addresses?
and personally, i would disable broadcasting the SSID

I think the mac filtering is disabled.
__________________When I disable the SSID, I dont get to use a pwkey to logon to network? Is that suppose to happen? Unless I'm doing it wrong. Maybe I should just buy a new router, this one seems pretty old. I just want to make sure no ones stealin my connection. Hey quick question, would zone alarm on my pc be conflicting with the laptop? I have the pc connected to router using wires, but the laptop wireless but it doesnt find network address.

Try to connect first with no encryption, SSID visible and no MAC address filtering.

Yea, the WRT54G is a good router, or the GL (you can flash it with Linux for more options and control).
__________________N is overkill in your case, since you probably don't have a N device yet, and N is still not finalized.
