Default Windows Defender Opinions

Hey everyone...

I need to come up with a list of positive and negative aspects of windows defender. The company I work for is considering using it temporarily until they get the updated McAfee that has anti-spyware.

I never used it before. Can anyone give me their opinions? Also, I don't want this to become a windows bashing thread. :P I'm going to propose adaware, but I need to come up with an honest list about defender also.

Please help!

Hackin9 (a security magazine targeted at the it pro and a very credible resource) just did a write-up, I believe last issue. They claim that a combination of AVG, Spybot and Windows Defender is as good as it gets.

Sorry, no link, I have the paper version of the article.

EDIT: Issue 1/2008 (14) Vol. 3 No. 1

EDIT II: Just found the article. The list was Spybot, Ad-Aware and Windows defender. AVG was the A/V of choice in the next paragraph.
