Default anyway to share files and folders wirelessly?

is there anyway to share files and folders from my laptop to my PC using wireless internet? i do not have the patch cords nor routers or anything like that, just a wireless adapter for my PC and my wireless card in my laptop.

My laptop is running vista home, and my PC is running vista ultimate.

if you're in a wireless network, simply access the other PCs shared folder and drop the files there... when u said u have no router... thats probably what threw fstfrddy off... It threw me off to, but all networks need a router/hub/switch these days...

well just a moment ago, windows had this thing up saying i can share and connect to my laptop threw the same wireless internet connection, so i wanted to see if its possible to transfer files wirelessly over the connection instead of needing a router or patch cord.

You can set it up as an ad-hoc network.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...02april08.mspx

Once you get all that down, you just follow all the same steps as if they were wired together.
