hey overclock.net

i wanted to know how i could set a desktop up with wireless internet.

Well, you need to be a bit more specific to the hardware you currently have.

You need a wireless card in your desktop, and a wireless access point or router to send the internet signal. If you are using Windows, the Zero Config utility should set it up fairly automatically when you choose to connect to the access point.

You are going to need to explain the hardware.
IF you have a linksys router.
go to 192.168.1.1 to turn on the wireless and set up security
For the wireless card, you will need to install the driver and follow the config utility. YOu will need to enter in the name of the network and the password that you set in the router.
