Don't see any reasons why it would? I've never had a bad FF install...

hmm, yea a fresh install probably would be the best thing to do, I always hated to format reinstall an OS just for something so petite, I'm waiting for it to happen to me with my 64 bit first install "OS im running now", maybe I am wrong but Id give it a shot just for a fresh install of 64 bit anyhow.

I've got Vista Ultimate 64bit on both my laptops and Firefox works fine and loads really quickly.

i've tried a few combinations with my sig rig ...... 4gb 3gb & 2gb testing for a higher OC
i found that with 2gb 800mhz (dual channel) @ 1100mhz in there it was slow slow slow everything took ages the rig was completly bogged then i chucked a 1gb 667mhz stick that was lying around in with it 3gb total (single channel) @ 720mhz and it was super quick u would not belive the increase in speed considering the ram specs dropped horribly everything was sooooo responsive then i took the 1gb stick out & stuck the other 2gb gskill in 4gb total (dual channel) @1100mhz & saw no improvement over the 3gb in single channel so i belive it needs alot of ram .....though there are many who run it on 2gb with no issues but these were my own experiences with the OS ![]()

You should whipe everything and make a fresh install; You may have some leftovers from the x86 install. Other than that, SP1 does help bigtime, 4GB of ram also.
