Ok. Here is the place to share all those funny moments when the computer tech messed something up at school.

Here is mine:
The network layout at my school is horrible. None of the commands for cmd are blocked. My favorite is the shutdown -s... You can also launch the graphical client and shutdown the server, name 'server' where all the grades are stored...and no backed up. All the commands are logged, so I know better...

You think thats bad? Back when I was IN school they had 3 computer labs between two different buildings, but only one had internet access and it was done by paying for IP addresses for each computer separately. They actually asked me to work with their IT guy to design and install a network to fix that crap. And of course, they wanted internet in their offices too.

And of course, it was the same IT guy that was dumb enough not to even use a router.

I like being able to shutdown other peoples computers.... At my school its room#/computer#. Real easy to shut someone down. There was a way to access other peoples files but they fixed that.

My high school's IT guys were actually good at their jobs. The network ran well and the only fun hole we ever found was that all printers for the school district (not just the school) were connected. Printing creepy things at the elementary school is endless fun

you should look into using the windows messenger service from cmd.... you could then throw pop-ups onto a teachers PC.

lol i work at mine at there now using the school internet to do stuff :P lol, we have the highest security blocking almost everything we cant even right click :P but the funny thing is we have a tablet program over 1200 tablets they keep breaking we have on average70% go out for repair lol and some of the questions we get from kids and what kids do with is hilariouse,

for instance we get kids saying i cant log on, we look at there name (it seplt wrong LOL),

then come in sayign why my has my tablet screen cracked what they do use it as a goal post for footie(soccer for u non english :P) we get yougurt spilt on them the lot is very funny :P
