I'm doing a project for school and I need to find some places to get these cat cables at a cheap price. It's for a pretend bidding project. They must be plenum, can't run anything else where I live. I'll probably need 30,000' of both. Anyone know any good places to get some? I'll be hitting up google but maybe someone knows of something I don't. Since I'm looking for 30k' each I prolly don't need to get 1k spools, maybe something longer? Any help is appreciated

You would DEFINATLY need to contact companies that make the cables for an order of that size. Just shoot them with an email on their site and they will direct you to the right person.

Like Turnoz said above me, email someone at a company saying your needs, and they will give you some sort of figures of how much it would cost, even if it's just for a project.

Wow yeah I haven't seen any spools over 1k ft either, I'd say contact a company.

CDW, might be a good place to check.Myself and others at my school buy from them often, and my professors are always talking about the school discount when we need to purchase cable, you could ask about that, may save you some $.

When you contact them I'd suggest letting them know that you're using it for a school project. Might get some sort of discount. It never hurts to try.
