that did not work.

this is starting to get frustrating
everything you told me to was there but it just didnt work :F

remember i dont have a router. if i had one i would know what to do..... buttttt.....

Go to a command prompt and type ipconfig/all

Waht does it list as your default gateway?

EDIT: Even better, could you provide a screenshot of that screen?

Oh my mistake so your going from the modem to your hub ? If so try switching the cable with another PC and see if that one gets cut off while the other stays on,could be a bad port or cable.

are you sure that you are using the right cable? I had this issue because I was using a cross over cable which looks like an Ethernet cable. (different pin configuration) try a different cable maybe the one to the other PC that you mentioned.
