Default Hacking problems
I no this will sound dumb but my PC was hacked and I was wondering If someone could help me out and tell me how to fix the hacking IE"free programs to rid of the hacked " thank you OCN members.

Ok a format IS a total wipe down. The pc with issues is your sig pc right?... Basically yes you are going to be erasing your entire hard drive, and then starting it from scratch. It will act brand-spanking new.

You know how to format i'm sure... just backup important files, find your windows os disc, pop it in, and reinstall. Simple effective way to fix your virus.

Then you just gotta lighten up on the torrent, limewire, and keygen downloads and you will be set!

Anyways, Don't EVER use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera should be in your future

Oh and buy a Antivirus, Nod32 would be perfect.

Ok I gess I wont worry. I use FireFox all the time I love It what Is worng with Firefox? I do have a Antivirus for my reg rig but not for my back up rig . but I will try to Install a Antivirus soon. thank you all

Go into safemode with networking. Download combofix.exe and update your anti-virus while you're in safe mode and run a scan with it. Then run combofix.exe. Reboot and go into Windows and it should have fixed the problem for ya. Also, try running a spyware scanner just in case on your machine.
