anybody have FIOS installed at their homes?
if so how is it? is it worth the pay? the only internet service in my area that im moving to is VERIZON and this other DSL connection.
many told me its good, but jst tryina see what you guys think =D

yeah man it's awesome! im paying less than my neighbors who are on cable subscriptions, and yeah, the setup takes some time, but it's flawless, inexpensive, and best of all they gave my parents a better router at my request - just be nice to the serviceperson

we have a developer for vista come into my office during the winter when i was here and he raved about fios and how fast and reliable it was. So i don't see it being a bad move..

stay away from DSL!

quite simply the best ISP experience I have had. the service is fantastic, low price, and I have never had any type of outage since I have had it, about 1-1/2 years. I have the 15mb download / 2mb upload. It comes with a modem/router with 4 port ethernet and wireless built it. I get 6mb download speedtest on my wireless laptop!

haha. well i wouldnt say its THAT cheap since compared to my current internet i pay around 30iSh. but its good i guess. im getting direct-tv+phone+fios = 100$

It is amazing. I DL torrents at 2-3MB/s as well as Windows Updates or files off any major servers. The Upload speed is also fantastic as my home server unleashes 600k/s upload speeds. Pretty damn good for $40 a month.
