Default Think i might have me one hellva virus.

Alright, so i'm playing EVE online today, out of no where BAM some 50's style music starts playing.

I think "oh, must be the game" and ignore it, but then i closed it to talk to some friends and BAM now its playing again, and i cant seem to find the source, its not in any of the programs i'm running.

In the Volume mixer, it says its comming from the speakers... odd.

Anyways long story short, i need some good Antivirus software or something.

Help?

Also is it the same track looping?

Have you tried going into your registry and checking the run folder to see if its showing up...?

The song plays for roughly 20 seconds, then cuts out, then plays another song for 20 seconds and cuts out and then repeats.

How would one check ones registry?

And already downloading AVG.

Thanks guys.

wow your screwed thats the 50's virus of death it was created in a city called rapture and will now transform you into a big daddy....
but in all serriousness go into run-msconfig-click on startup tab-make sure all are unchecked-restart computer-double check this area again when computer starts-if its clear your good if anything rechecked itself-go to run-regedit-find the registry file that it is-delete it.
if that dosnt work then do a nice virus scan or something.
if you still have more issues your looking at some serrious crap get a lawyer....
