Default F5D7000 on XP Pro x64

Hello all. I Installed XP Pro x64 today, and everything is going smoothly other than I cant get my card to work correctly...

I use the install disc ive used alot of times on my old Home Edition install, but something isnt right. It installs, and I proceed to click the Icon, which loads, but only for half a second, then closes.

Is this something to do with running on x64? I have Version 3 of the card, which doesnt have any x64 drivers on the Belkin site. Are there any? Is there a fix somewhere? Is this problem even related to being on x64?

I have tried versions 7 drivers, and 5 too. All with same results.

If there are no X64 drivers for you card, then you won't be able to run it on your PC. Drivers are what tell your operating system how to "talk" to the device that you've installed. Since x84 drivers are not designed to work with x64 OS's, the likely hood of the device working properly with x84 drivers install on a x64 OS are very slim. You're probably going to have to get another card that is x64 compotiable, or revert back to x84 OS.

Hi,
I have the same card as you and Win XP PRO 64bit, and indeed as you report, the Belkin drivers do not work. Just simply uninstall all belkin drivers and try letting windows detect it and installing it. Mine seems to install a broadcom driver, and it works perfectly.I don't know what version i have though
