Yeah probably, but don't expect to be amazed. I bet you'll see a healthy increase in speed but nothing extraordinary. But for 7 bucks more a month it's absolutely worth it!

Maybe, but probably not. Maybe from 100 to 70/60? I'm just guessing here sorry.

Well never mind now, my family's business email will have to be changed if we cancel our subscription to RR. Damn. Don't want to have to change the email.

Bandwidth doesn't affect pings after a certain speed; it is the distance from the server. Same with speeds. I'm assuming in the US you guys have ADSL2+ or something? In that case it is dependent on your attenuation and distance from your exchange. You won't get the whole 15mbps bandwidth, you might get 10 or so though. Max download speed would be about 1.5 mb/s.

So if i upgrade to 10mbps will i still get 5mb/s? is it worth the $7 upgrade from 5mb/s to 10mb/s?

Your current plan cannot be 5000kbps downstream because you are exceeding that in your speed test. Double check the plan please.
