Basically, an Automated Workstation name changer. Useful on things like Novell and AD and such.

Works fine as a standalone away from a server/system base too.

I'm not sure if you work in the IT field GH0, but FYI this is REALLY bad software. All thsi software does is use the built in name changing feature in windows. While you can use this, 99\100 when used in an AD enviroment you loose authorization and have to reburn the PC to get it working properly. I strongly reccomend anyone thinking of using this NOT TO if the network runs on AD.

I am not a tech, though, I plan on being one.

I never have worked on an AD system, but I have on Novell. I never encountered that problem on Novell. Yes, I know that AD is different, but I didn't think it was that different for a simple host name change.

when you rename a computer in a AD environment then the name isn't automatically updated so it can cause issues
