Default wireless antena

im looking for a omni directional wireless antenna that i can plug into my wireless card and then wrap it around whatever.

im thinking of this for a carputer so i can have the antenna come up to the dash on my car.

i want it to be between a 15 and 18 Db antenna if there is one and 2 feet long.

is there such a thing.

most wireless antennas have a hard antenna and you would need it to be mounted outside your car to get the best signal.

I have seen such things in an online shop here in the UK. although looking at them they are quite expensive and maybe not quite as powerful as you specify (~14dBi)

you may be able to find them in stores over there i don't know though.

or is there a really small pad like 3"x3" that has an omni directional signal that i can have a wire go from the card to the wireless antenna pad.
