Move the case. The metal is probably blocking the signal. I had a similar problem with the antenna from my wireless NIC being blocked when it was in the back of the case.

Try moving your case elsewhere and see if the same problem occurs. If so, it sounds like a setting might have been changed either on your computer or on the router.

If you do move your computer and everything works again, then that is a really weird issue and maybe your router is claustrophobic.
