To those with a N router and G and N NIC cards and 2 laptops. Test this out...
__________________Put 1 card in 1 laptop and 1 in the other. See how far you can go with : 1:G Settings 2:Mixed 3:N Settings In theory, On the G they should be the same, on Mixed if they are both on they should be the same, N might have the speed. on N setting the G shouldnt work but the N should be working further and faster. If someone can test this out... and let me know this is true, its buggin me that most people dont understand, or that i have been misinformed.

As in testing distance?
Netgear Wireless N Router 1 Laptop with Wireless N Card 1 Laptop with Wireless G Card At 100ft(ie, on the deck outside) distance from router both operate just fine - except the N to N connection is blazing fast and the G connection is workable but ya aren't playing any games on it.
