Default Be there

According to the communication i got my line was meant to be activated on friday. However i got my modem today and checked dsl zone to see if it was activated and it was.

My connections is running slow atm tho, is there any tips to optimize the thomson router they give you, and does it take a while for your connection to speed up?

You very possibly need to call the ISP and provision your modem. Most modems won't work at all, or run very slow until the ISP has sent it information from their end (provisioning).

DO NOT CONNECT UR ROTUER TILL THE LINE ACTIVIATION DATE!
check ur Be Account Page to see when it will be activeated

if it already is, please post ur status so we can see ur line quality
to check this go to this page
http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/dsl/dt/?ce=1&be=0&l0=1&l1=0

need to log in with Administrator note the Capital A and leave the password blank if the settng r default.

heres a quick tip also
remove ur BT face plate and connect rotuer to Test Socket to increase quality (decrease noise)

no wiring needed just to remove 2 screws
