How Safe is it to use Google Docs?

and is it possible for people who dont have a google account to use it?

I believe it is fairly secure and people without a gmail account just have to click on the lil button below the log in to let you set up a google account.

its about as safe as anything else on the internet

and anyone can get a google account now, its easy to sign up
