Default Wireless Broadband Usb card?

Anyone know anything about these cards,I have Wild BLUE Satellite would this work better,Its a Novatel Ovation U727. My speeds are really slow and expensive.

Most of the specs that i've seen for mobile broadband cards are speeds around 1.5mbps download 256mbps upload. This would be equilivant to WBlue's highest package. The reliability of the card will be based on signal strength in your area, interference in your area, and you should also compare the cost of the mobile broadband packages vs. your wildblue.

That is exactly what this laptop has. It's from verizon, and it's the VZaccess stuff. Those speeds are correct, and I tested for 500ms ping.

For general internet usage, it's great, though for gaming it won't work.

Well i talked to a guy from Radeo Shack as of the end of july it will be broad band asof now its not,I pay 79.00 for speeds that change as the wind,79.00 wild blue vs 59.00 is a better deal as it it rain alittle i loose connection.
