Default Looking for a Bandwidth Moniter

Hi

Currently i use http://www.bwmonitor.com/

Which looks like this

i like it coz of the LIVE graph and how the data is recorded
devided into day/week/month/year/total

and how u can extract the data into other formats

but i am looking for something more
insted of monitering the current computer network card
i want to moniter all my network

as in
192.168.0.1 (TOTAL/ADSL2+) = day/week/month/year/total + LIVE Graph
192.168.0.2 (DESKTOP/LAN) = day/week/month/year/total + LIVE Graph
192.168.0.3 (LAPTOP/WLAN) = day/week/month/year/total + LIVE Graph
192.168.0.4 (PPC/WLAN) = day/week/month/year/total + LIVE Graph

all to be seen on and recorded on the desktop

Get a DD-WRT compatible router. With the new version you can keep your memory usage logged by month. Its really cool....

The most common model used is the WRT54G from Linksys. The older you get it the better.

They usually cost around 40$ new.

dd-wrt is a customized firmware that is put on the router, replacing the default linksys firmware.

The monthly bandwidth usage he is talking about show like this:

June 2008 (Incoming: 160234 MB / Outgoing: 10710 MB)

You can also show it by day too.

Plus it has a real time bandwidth monitor.

If you are looking at more features, then it has more then any linksys default firmware has. Plus more then any other manufacturer puts in their firmware.

Though, be sure to follow instructions! You have the possibility to brick the router.
