Oh, and by the way. One cool feature of Avast is the boot-time scan. If Avast can't get rid of a virus while running in Windows, you can click that "eject" icon in the Avast virus scanner and select boot-time scan. Avast will then scan for and remove viruses the next time you reboot your PC before Windows loads. It's a very handy tool for getting rid of very stubborn viruses.

Check to see whats in all the log folders, I believe the warning one is the one that logs virus's found.

Another thing to love about avast is that it scans any files your browser saves to your hard drive either through cookies or temp files and stuff, so if you think you got a virus while browsing myspace the only way it would happen is if avast missed it.
Who doesn't honestly love hearing "Virus database has been updated." all the time?

Avast's virus recovery database will add some files to the system files folder in the chest in the near future& updates periodically, I see three different dates for the files added there in mine, never needed them yet.
