I made the switch from Brighthouse networks to Verizon Fios about 3 months ago. The difference has been amazing....With Brighthouse the internet was down at least once a week and sometimes once a day. I was constantly getting less bandwidth for what I was paying for and the customer service was absolutely terrible.

For the time that I've had Verizon I've only had one problem. One day the router decided to just completely die. Wouldn't turn on at all....I called Verizon up and they had a brand new router sitting on my porch the next day.

I've got the entire Verizon package (Phone, TV and Internet) and it has been absolutely stunning. The internet is 20 DL / 5UP and I have not once experienced any slowdowns, port issues etc. The biggest thing for me has been the customer service, it has been superb. When I was having the router problem I spoke to the same representative everytime.

I'd highly recommend Verizon

Unfortunately, FIOS is not available in my area yet. I do have Wide Open West though (WoW) and my speed is exactly as advertised, 4Mb/512Kb. They also don't throttle my connection or anything like that.

It's like, you read his post - and ignored every word he said, but yet continued to reply back with a post that had nothing to do with what he said.

Wow that download speed is awesome. I guess you had to pay for it by getting a crappy upload though
