Default Anyone using the ESET Smart Security?

I have a question...

Do any of you use the complete ESET Smart Security... or are you just using the NOD32 Anti-virus and some other firewall program (like ZoneAlarm)?

I'm currently thinking about switching from ZoneAlarm Pro Internet Suite to either NOD32 + free ZoneAlarm firewall or just buying the whole ESET Smart Security (which I assume does the same thing as ZA Pro Internet Suite, but with a lighter footprint.)

Any opinions out there?

Do you have a router? Personally, I just use it's firewall and I'll crank on PG2 if I'm concerned about privacy.

Using NOD32 anti-virus + Outpost firewall.
I didn't think it was worth it to invest in the entire Smart Security suite as there are other firewalls that are much better at protecting your PC.

I have used ESET Smart Security for the past year or so, haven't had any problems. Firewall works great. As long as you have a hardware firewall, you shouldnt be worried about what software firewall you use.

Only problem with advising someone to do that is that while you may know that YOU are not going to click on sketchy web links or open virus-infested emails you really don't know about the other person's judgement or knowledge when it comes to such things.. so that whole router firewall thing needs to come with the caveat that most router firewalls will not recognize outgoing DDoS, keylogger, worm etc... type traffic that originates from inside the network as being malicious. These are things that one can get by clicking on malicious links or opening email viruses and they are things that a software firewall can recognize as bad traffic. So I would advise that a hardware firewall is a great addition to your network but should also be supplemented with a software firewall unless your hardware firewall is extremely advanced in packet inspection and whatnot.

I'm using Smart Security right now - it works great, and it's light on resource usage. I'm not the one clicking everywhere and opening every attachment I get, so I don't really know how well the firewall works .

BTW... I do have a router, and I currently use ZoneAlarm Pro Internet Security Suite (which combines a software firewall with spyware/adware protection and antivirus.)

I'm thinking about switching to NOD32 or Smart Security...

If I just get NOD32, I'll probably use the free ZoneAlarm software firewall... however I just wanted to know how good ESET's firewall program was before I made a final decision.
