Last night I just set up a wireless router for my new ISP. Everything went fine. I added all of the PCs in the house, no sweat. Then I go to my sig rig, ping the router, and proceed to setup utorrent (BT client) by allowing the correct ports to be opened. I first decided to run an app on utorrent that scans the current port to see if it is open. It was. So I hit "random port" and scanned that port. Open. I am not uber-paranoid about security, but I am simply wondering why the router is allowing all of my ports to be open. I did'nt see anything that appeared out of place when I set up the router. Here is the router I purchased, in case that helps. Thanks friends.

Also, make sure the firewall portion is turned on, and the option to respond to external pings is turned off.
