Wen exactly did I even suggest I was against your purchase for you to get defensive?

Besides, it can be fun to mess around with things like this. They might be a bit overpriced but they are still neat toys

Just lighten up a bit.
So now I tell you the same thing - just lighten up a bit

And please, don't hesitate to post your experience with it, I'm very curious myself. Are the drivers stable? Is its bittorrent client any good? Did you test the firewall? Will it blend?

Oh Manyak I wasn't not talking to you, I was talking to everybody just to clarify things. Because everybody here is like you just waisted 200 bucks and stuff. Anyways yea the firewall is very good and so is the bit torrent client, they are coming out with new programs and updates for old ones as well

I have a Killer M1 also. I agree its hard to justify the money, mainly for people fortunate enough to have a high-speed/low latency internet connection who only game online.

I can only get 1.1 meg where I live from any service provider so my network performance is very poor. With the Killer my pings have dropped in all online games I play, (cod4, css, bf2) by upto 20 ping and the lag spikes have decreased noticeably. Hit reg has improved ten fold and my blood pressure has dropped also

It really depends what use you have for the card and how much your network needs to be improved for gaming.

It does have some good features - but in terms of performance improvements, they depend on the quality of your ISP's internet connection.
