Default looking for a new wireless card

My dad decided he wanted me to build him a computer, and for the most part everything is fine and dandy, until i realized he was going to be using it wirelessly, and i have never worked with any wireless cards, especially for a PC, so i dont know any good brands and whatnot.

Was wondering if you guys could recommend me a card, either PCI, or USB, i just am looking for fairly high end card, i probably dont need N capability, but i figure why not. All advice is appreciated and Thanks!

Dude, this card is DEFINITELY the one to pick. Newegg sold out of these, but it is one of the best products I have ever owned. I seriously have one in a box just in case they ever dry up completely. This card is cheap, fast, and has never dropped a connection on me. Has awesome range to. Dont think, just buy it.

I know you only stated PCI or USB, but if you do have an open PCIe slot then I would suggest the Abit Airpace (usually cheap to buy).. I've used 3 and they all got exceptional signal quality... They are far better than my Belkin N1 card on the G band..

If you can't use a PCIe card, then I got nothen, sorry..

Your router has to be N in order to get N speeds, but this is a card that I've used in several of my relative's PC's and they're pretty satisfied. BTW what's your budget ?

I personally would never go with a USB adapter unless you were using it on a laptop.
Still even for a laptop, I would go with a PCMIA card then.

I would find a PCI card if you can use it.

Since you said you want to use Draft-N, then I am not sure what good cards are out. The last one I used was G and it worked great.
