At my work my boss an I have set up a vm server dedicated to filter spam through our network. We have Websense installed but cannot find a tutorial on how to make it work with exchange 2003. I've been looking on google for 30 min now and have not come across anything. If someone could find me a tutorial I would appreciate it. Thanks

I think you have your products crossed. Websense is a web content filtering software, not SPAM software. You would use Websense to control or monitor employee web surfing habits.

If you are running Websense Email Security you need to read the pdf file here
http://kb.websense.com/pf/12/webfile...stallation.pdf . The answers you are looking for are in there including deployment scenarios etc. Do ensure that you are using the latest release and install all the patches / hotfixes etc. After this read the following article to ensure your policies are set in the most optimal fashion for filtering new types of spam http://kb.websense.com/article.asp?article=3270&p=12 |
