Default Help-wireless connection on my laptop

I have this laptop and installed all drivers: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...OID=1093#11395

and these
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...tem=hb-22765-1
But HP client manager says the network card is installed but the wireless driver is not. I have no idea what to do. It was really easy to make my Acer lappy work but not this Compaq.

help very much appreciated

SOLVED by using Asus pcmcia wlan card.
