Used to use wi-fi, but I had problems with it, so I'm using ethernet now.

i use wifi for my 8 laptops (5 are mine rest are family) and wired for my computer

It depends. If I am using my (or a) laptop, I would prefer WiFi.
If I am using my desktop, I would prefer Ethernet.
I do not notice any difference though.
