Hi,
I have a problem when I download something from a torrent, Exactly when 23.7 Megabytes are downloaded my internet connection goes to "Limited or no connectivity". Repairing or restarting the Local Area Connection is not working, the only way is to restart the computer. I tried uTorrent, BitTorrent, Vuze. No difference. I dont have this problem on XP or Ubuntu, only on Vista SP1. I also dont have this problem on my Intel motherboard, it only happens on a nForce 780i reference board. I tried re-installing windows and used different versions of Network Adapter drivers, but that didn't solve the problem. Can anyone help...?! thanks,

1. Are you behind a router ?
Also some ISP's despise Bitorrent programs and will limit you sometimes. I have experienced this before. Perhaps not to the extent of shutting down the connection but your bandwidth can get limited.

I'm going to assume that you can download normal files past 23.7 with no problems?

I dont understand. If ISP is doing something, then why this problem doesn't happen on my other systems or on XP or Ubuntu? ------------ I also used a VPN connection from a USA server, and the problem still exists. So I'm sure this is not about the ISP.

I sometimes have a similar issue with a torrent client running. I thought it might be the PC and vista related, but I switched the torrents to a file server, and it's still happening randomly, I think when I'm connected to a lot of peers, and the download/upload rate is high. Though, I'm not certain. I've limited global connections to 75, but it still happens, so either 75 connections is still too much for the router, or the down/up rates of 400kb/s / 100kb/s is too much. I've got a D-Link 4300. This was first happening to me on Vista, now it's also occuring on an XP machine.
