Torrent wise- Yes
im on RR right now with 7000Download and 387Upload.. and my speeds for bittorrent files seem to be a lot better..

Xbox360 wise- still testing

It seems to be working almost the same- ill do some hosting test sometime within the next few days- My router im using for wireless connections is the DGL-4300 ( yes i have the same setup as you and dhrandy lol )

But I can tell you that it seems like untangle is splitting up the packets a lot better than the DGL-4300 while playing Xbox360 and downloading/uploading torrent files..

So I can say it seems to be working better than the DGL-4300 alone- Like you two have previously stated..

Oh and being i didn't post it.. this is what untangle is handling-

1-Desktop
2-WebSite Server (Personal Site)
3-Laptop (wireless)
4-Xbox360 (wireless)
5-Wii (wireless)
6-HTPC (wireless) (This is also bridge to my Nfusion )
7-Nfusion

You have a modem somewhere in your network? The router sits behind the modem.

I'd join but I have no clue where I would fit a Untangle Router in to my setup/ I only have 1 router that is also a built in modem. How does the Re-router way work?

Re-route you install on a machine running XP. You can also do VMWare.

pFsense and m0n0wall doesn't required near as much hardware to run. The biggest difference is that Untangle has a little more protection in some areas. It has free add-ons for:

* Spam Blocker
* Spyware Blocker
* Protocol Control
* Virus Blocker
* Phish Blocker
* IPS
* Attack Blocker
* Firewall
* OpenVPN
* Untangle Reports

Untangle is more focused on businesses and network protection. pFSense does have superior network shaping and QoS. m0n0wall is lighter weight and will install on almost any thing.

I have a router/modem. But I would like to replace it with Untangle.

My current setup:

Telephone connection -> Netgear DG834G -> Computers (wired and wireless).
