anyone else have problems with OCN chat when using spyware blocker, web filter, virus blobker, or intrusion prevention??? it won't let me in chat if i have any of those on.

You should be able to add a bypass rule for that site. Try turning off each one until you find the one that is blocking it.

I installed Untangle on my home network 2 days ago and am loving it so far!

Did you notice any performance gains or security improvements?

You can install it on a WHS box as a Virtual Router using VMWare Server: http://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/U...ance_on_VMware
Your server will just have to be on if you want Internet access. You will just need to provide 600-800MB to the VM.

Alright, I tried installing it on my second PC (AMD e4850, 2GB RAM) and the software takes forever to install, start, stop, etc when installed on top of XP. I'll probably go for a m0n0wall setup instead.
