If you have the linksys monitor running (little green box with 3 black lines) right click on it and see if you can switch it to use windows zero configuration utility. Click on your network from there and see what happens. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Good luck!

Do you have updated Drivers?
What type of Wireless Security/Code/Method are you using? WEP, WPA, none? TKIP, AES? If you use Ethernet cables, do you get the internet? Have you restarted since installing the adapter? Did you install it correctly? Basic information on how you are using the LAN/Wireless adapter could help us solve these problems. Giving that information, eh, not so much.

I've encountered a similar problem like yours. I bought a wireless PCI adapter. Windows Zero Utility would state that I was "Connected" but it said with limited or no connectivity. The other computers were wirlessly connected and working fine. Well long story short the adapter ended up being faulty. A "new" one fixed the problem.
You could very well end up having a faulty adapter if all else fails.

Try this: COMPLETLY remove all traces of the wireless card on ur PC. Check for a firmware upgrade for the router. Reset the route back to its default settings. Install the wireless card exactly as the instructions say to. Then see if it will connect to the router. The router should still be set to its default. That way you eliminate any setup that you did, ie security and such.
